Kidz First Public Health Nursing

The Kidz First public health nurses have a community base in the centre, as part of Health New Zealand’s Counties Manukau service. The team supports the health and wellbeing of children, young people and their whānau, and much of the work happens in schools and the community rather than over a counter.

Services across the Kidz First network include vision and hearing checks, newborn hearing screening, a public health nurse ear clinic and school immunisation programmes. They are free for anyone eligible under Ministry of Health criteria. The office keeps weekday hours, 8am to 4:30pm; ring first to check what is run from this site.
