Evelina's Polynesian Food
Samoan family takeaway cooking home-style food: taro in coconut cream, raw fish, chop suey. Wed to Sun.
About Evelina's Polynesian Food
Evelina’s is a Samoan family business started by Evelina and her daughter Vanessa, cooking the kind of food you would otherwise only get at home. The recipes are Evelina’s own, passed down from her grandmother, and the counter runs to taro in coconut cream, raw fish, chop suey, lamb buns and pancakes.
It trades from the ground floor of the centre at 459 Roscommon Road, Wednesday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm, and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Customers come from right across South Auckland and further afield, and Sunday is the busiest day.
